Blue Mountain

Last Saturday I went to Blue Mountain with my wife Gili and the Samba Kidz, where they performed three sets to advertise a rib festival that is to take place the following weekend. We got to go up the mountain in a Gondola for free, and I took this shot on the way down. This was my first time visiting Blue mountain in the Summer, and it was beautiful. It's too bad we didn't have more time to spend there, because there are some really nice hikes around the area, and other fun things to do.

Flowers

I took these images at my good friends' place in ottawa. I used a shutter speed of 1/15 of a second and moved the camera as I was taking the shot. I like the different results, and even more the fact that the kitchen in the background magically disappeared.

Toronto Skyline

I took this panorama a few months ago from the bridge at the foot of Bathurst St. (and Front St.). The CN Tower is covered by very heavy fog. I took many shots of the train tracks that same day, but i don't think that I got any that were particularly of any interest to me.

In celebration of the Dallas Mavericks beating LeBron James and the Miami Heat last night to capture the NBA championship, I present to you...a basketball net.

Stacked Chairs and Fence

I participated in a photography workshop a few weeks ago with a French-Israeli photographer and self proclaimed philosopher. The advertisement for the workshop promised to forever change the way I shoot. Well, it didn't.  But I took a few shots that I liked, so I'm sharing them here. Enjoy.

I shot this one over the weekend during the Muthadi's Drumming festival at Queen's Park, Toronto. I just liked the quote on the shirt. Sounds like a good life philosophy.
